Gina Michelle Lochausen spent much of her time sharing her love of art with children hospitalized with acute and chronic diagnosis. “People ask isn’t that difficult. It must be very sad.” To the contrary! Never have I been more inspired than by these angels who bring out the good in people and find joy in every possible moment. The colors are brighter, the sounds sweeter, and there are more flavors of ice cream in this universe than we could ever imagine! This they told me, and I believe it to be true. The children’s influence is everywhere in the new pieces. Whimsy, fantasy, family, and love are themes throughout this series.
